The Cure | Schecter Guitars
Illustration
Custom Schecter bass graphic for Simon Gallup of The Cure. Comissioned in 2016, and still in regular use on tour.
Simon had a very clear vision of what he wanted, a heraldic style lion on the main body, and a rose with five curling leaves to represent his wife and four children.
This bass has been notably used on stage at their Glastonbury headline slot in 2019, and their Hyde Park 40th anniversary show. It has so far been made in yellow, black, pink and red. It is still available to purchase from authorised Schecter dealers worldwide.
