‘Not in This Lifetime’ Tour Poster

Limited edition lithograph poster, sold exclusively at the Guns n’ Roses show, at the Veltins-Arena, Gelsenkirchen, Germany in 2018.

Each show on this tour had its own exclusive poster. The brief was simple, it had to include something iconic about the city, and revolve around or include a skull in some form. Gelsenkirchen is an industrial city, known for coal production and oil refining - famous for it’s iconically tall, heavily smoking chimneys.

A skull ominously forming from the chimney smoke presented itself as the perfect solution. Tattoo artist Chaim Machlev (DotsToLines) and I collaborated on this piece, he added the geometric swirling lines, that rise with the smoke, through the skull.
